Developed and refined in close consultation with the world’s top racing sailors, the most efficient system for furling free-flying Code Zero and Gennaker sails is top down. This avoids those nightmare situations where the top of the sail blows out into an untidy bag, leaving lots of flapping windage and drag up high, exactly where it can do most harm to the sail and ruin your perfectly-executed mark rounding. The top-down furl is faster, tighter and cleaner, even allowing the furled sail to remain hoisted if necessary. As the name suggests, the furl begins at the head of the sail via a torque stay driven by the furler.
