PRODUCT RANGE

Choose from one of our three main ranges to find the products that best suit your boat. Each range is customised to serve the demands of our three main markets: inshore, offshore and extreme series. Fully customised solutions are also available.
INSHORE SERIES FURLERS

The Inshore series furlers have the same internal properties as the Offshore Series. This includes the same factor of safety, bearings, spindles, aluminium forks and drums. They range in SWL (Safe Working Load) 1T to 12T.  The difference is in the outer guards. The inshore furlers are designed for short coastal racing and round the buoys courses. The guard is a rigid plastic and protects the drum well, however if damaged, it will require replacement parts instead of on the water repairs. The Inshore furlers cannot have a ratchet lock system. You can see these furlers in action on AC45's, Extreme 40’s, Bella Mente, Jethou, Gunboat to name a few

OFFSHORE SERIES FURLERS

The Offshore series furlers have the same internal properties as the Inshore Series. This includes the same factor of safety, bearings, spindles, aluminium forks and drums. They range in SWL (Safe Working Load) 4T to 25T.  The difference is in the outer guards. The Offshore Furlers are designed for larger yachts, offshore racing and extended ocean cruising. The guard is a flexible plastic with stainless steel rope guides. This system allows for on the water repairs where parts can be bent back into shape if necessary while still 100-1000's of miles from port. The Offshore furler ranges in size from 4T SWL - 30T SWL and comes with custom components specific to the needs of the vessel. It has the option to have a ratchet -lock.

You can see these furlers in action on all the Volvo Ocean Race yachts, the new VPLP 100 Comanche, the new Rambler 88, Swans, superyachts and Maxis's like Esimit Europa, Wally 100's, Loyal, Rio 100, Wild Oats XI.

XTREME SERIES FURLERS

For those yachts requiring increased weight saving, with no compromise on performance, the Inshore and Offshore Series head swivels and  furlers can be converted to 'Xtreme' mode by replacing all stainless parts with titanium. Ensuring huge weight savings an Xtreme head swivel is approximately 50 per cent lighter than a standard swivel, which can equate to a game-changing saving of over 2 kgs in our larger parts.
